Considering there is yet be a cure, vaccine, antibody tests, or other intervention for COVID-19, there is no perfect path back to sessions done in person. That being said, I have devised some protocols to help protect each of us. While I continue to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic, there is no guarantee of safety from getting the virus, only best practices to try and greatly reduce the spread.
Thank you in advance for being mindful of these protocols that I have based on recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO). I've also considered guidance from other health-care sectors, associates, and findings from recent research.
Below are questions and guidelines to consider before showing up for your scheduled appointment.
If you can answer “YES” to ANY of the questions below, please stay home and instead opt for a Video session.
1. Do you actively have any of the following symptoms?

If you did answer “yes” to any of the questions above, per the CDC, persons with COVID-19 who have symptoms and were directed to care for themselves at home may discontinue isolation under the following conditions:

4. Are you immune-compromised or do you have any chronic lung illness?
If you did answer “yes” to any of the questions above, per the CDC, persons with COVID-19 who have symptoms and were directed to care for themselves at home may discontinue isolation under the following conditions:
- At least 3 days (72 hours) have passed since recovery defined as resolution of fever without the use of fever-reducing medications and
- Improvement in respiratory symptoms (e.g., cough, shortness of breath); and,
- At least 7 days have passed since symptoms first appeared.

Considerations from me:
- Wearing a mask during your visit.
- Disinfecting surfaces in between sessions.
- Using a fan and balcony door open to provide fresh outside circulating air in the office during your session.
- Limiting the number of in-person clients per day.
- Stagger client appointments times.
- For those receiving Touch work, the table is sanitized between sessions and sheets are not being used at this time.
Considerations from you:
- Please cancel your session if you wake up with ANY COVID symptoms. There will be no charge for your missed session even if you cancel in less than 24 hours
- Please wear a face covering when entering the building and in the waiting room.
- Wait in your car until your appointment time in order to minimize close contact with others in the building and waiting room.
- Use hand sanitizer and/or wash your hands before and after session.
